Thank you to all those who participated in the NYC tournament last Saturday!  Shout-outs to Tim and Eric for their work in organizing everything and making the trip a fun and memorable one.  And the new uniforms look great! (check them out below)

Princeton defeated the division I Syracuse during yesterday’s tournament and lost to Rutgers.  Thanks to all who participated and helped to organize the tournament!

Princeton Club badminton snagged 2nd place in division 2 at the tournament in Westborough! With a team comprising solely of freshman and sophomores, we managed to pull a victory against tough opponents such as University of Connecticut, Middlebury and Stony Brook. After advancing to the semifinals, we narrowly defeated Columbia (payback for last year), but lost against Yale. It was fun playing against everyone, and we extend our congratulations to Yale for their victory.

Special shoutout to Alicia, who kept her head up despite getting injured, and Spencer, the birthday boy on the trip.

The Badminton Club is purchasing uniforms and other equipment!

If you’d like to purchase a uniform, email Tim (tseah@princeton.edu) with your shirt size and name as you want it on the shirt (for other equipment such as rackets and bags, please specify if you are interested).

Uniforms are “reasonably priced” (exact price is yet to be determined).
